"Many people have wondered over the past week how Anthony will fit into the Knicks offense...So far under Lin, the Knicks' offense has been predicated on ball movement. So some have questioned whether Anthony can adjust to things under Lin...

Anthony has seen the speculation on television and the Internet. And he thinks it's pretty amusing..."I know what I bring to this team," Anthony said on Monday after missing practice due to a strained right groin. "My teammates know that. But to say, 'How can I fit in?' It's easy; give him the ball and space out. I get back to doing what I know how to do best. So we'll see."

Heeaz a lil mo kommint on Marzha, eh?

Kaze ya aint knowwin, Marzha be shote fo Marzhmello. But dat aint da point. Point be diz heea:

I heeaz a lotta peepoz tryz an minnamizez da impotinze offa point gard. Dem shaky-azz Nikz wuz lozin beegtime wit too "all-sta" playaz, Marzha an Amare, playin 48/82. Win day bot out, diz cheenk, Lin, kumz in a leedz em ta a buncha winz, movin da ball an gittin evrywun involvid stedda jizt stannin roun watin fo Marzha er Staddamia ta heevez up a shot.

Yawl kin havez yo stoopid-azz, ball-hawggin, all-staz. Jizt gimme a smart cheenk hooz a teem playa, eny ole day.

Sounds like the same problem LA had a few years ago, with Karl Malone trying to fit in with the Laker bawlin' hawgses. Ya think the NBA would jes unnerstand the star mentality and put more bawls in play, eh?

From the point of view of defense, it's a whole lot easier when you know beforehand who is going to take the shot.

If'n I was the owner, I'd fire those two worthless hawgs and jes' keep the payroll down a bit, and enjoy the cheap talent.

That is funny. New York broke the team the day Chandler signed. Best bet is to package Marzhmello with him or Amare and sail both down to the bottom of the coast for Howard and Turk. They still would have to sign a great role player though.

From a NYK fan forum:

http://insidehoops.com/forum/showthread ... 0&page=181

Quote:
You kinda answered your own question with that question. Like you said " STAT had a MVP type season with R.Felton who is nothing more then a glorfied backup/Decent starter."

Now imagine what he could do with a superstar PG Like D-Will...
We could solve our two main issues with one trade to the Nets: We would recieve an amazing PG and recieve great depth in role players like M. Brooks, A.Morrow, and B.Lopez or K. Kardashi... Humphries. We could probally even get a draft pick out of them.

The Nets are starving for a superstar like Melo, and like I said a million times already... Jay-Z & The Russian mobster would give up alot to get him. Because all they want is starpower to fill that weak ass Brooklyn arena next year. And Melo would do exactly that.

We Trade:
Melo
Balkman
Douglas
J.Jordan

We recieve:
D-Will
M. Brooks
A. Morrow
B. Lopez and/or K. Humphries
Draft pick

The Melo project has failed.
It doesn't matter who get at PG if Melo is still on the team. Because once the ball gets in his hands, the only place the baall is going next is to the basket. He's not a team player, and he never will be. That's why we need to get rid of him while we still can.

Just imagine this Depth Chart:

PG: D-Will / B.Davis / M.Bibby
SG: M.Brooks / I.Shumpert / B.Walker
SF: L.Fields / A.Morrow/
PF: STAT / J. Harrellson / K. Humphries
C: T. Chandler / B. Lopez / J. Jeffries

That my friends is a loaded team that isn't about just one superstar.

That's too much just for Marshmallow but the guy makes a great point about bringing on Crymelo to fill brand new Brooklyn seats.

That Knicks team would be legit too. We already saw what D-Will could do with a good forward. Just imagine what he could do with a truly great scorer in Amar'e, and both their defensive weaknesses masked by Chandler.

Pretty good line, babe.

That team was the most underachieving team of all time IMO, even though The Zen Master never underachieves and stuff.

Useless facts of the day: That was the year our boy Jamaal had his dreams crushed (alongside Reggie the Teeth) as well as the dreams of our boy Karl, and our boys Brevin and Keith Van Horn (UofU), all by our other boy Money Shot Memo. Also, Mikki Moore started the season on the NJN with Jaron's twin before going to the Jazz via D-League. Memo crushed NJN in the playoffs that year too.
