I keep having this moronic impulse to call you "Bishop" something. Yeah, I know Judge Memorial is a catholic school, but I don't think you are catholic, exactly. More like someone who just wants to discredit an otherwise "normal" religion. . . . well, not that religion is a good forum for normality. But any religion trying to be mainstream is going to have a lot of effort being made to "get along" with others who might not necessary subscribe to it. Well, at least if the power of government can't directly be appropriated for the purpose of enforcement.

I think the Bush dynasty is solidly behind Mitt, and the mainstream press is biased towards him as well. Even George Soros thinks Mitt will do the liberal agenda proud. The Republican party "apparatchiks" are leaning on all the levers to deliver the nomination to Mitt.

After reading a "newsmax" article or two, it's obvious that they are pushing Newt though. One article I've read talks about how "Mitt" is doing a "mitts off" routine towards Ron Paul, the guy I most respect, and suggested that Paul and Romney have a sort of peace treaty, and that Ron is trying to get a "seat at the table" in the Mitt administration.

At first I thought that was maybe smart of Mitt and Paul, but I've since realized that it's really a slander against Paul that the Newt forces would like to get out there to drive "real" conservatives into Newt's fake conservative camp.

I'd vote for Newt or Santorum, but I don't think catholic partisanship is wanted by either. Aren't Catholics somewhat more supportive of liberals? At this phase at least, it's an effort to draw in th BAC/southern conservative block.

Well, except for Paul, who is campaigning for the long-term "revolution" of advancing concepts like limited government and human liberty, dressed out as responsible financial budgets, withdrawal of our military forces overseas, and at least public disclosure of Fed actions.

Is a "real" conservative supportive of minimum wage laws?...I guess if they didn't care about the poor they would be.

Minimum wage, Ho!

I've read a lot of Thomas Sowell's stuff on minimum wage. He's brilliant, possibly the smartest man in the universe.

I'm still plugging my ears and pulling for Mitt. Take that.

My most immediate wannabe supervisor is a Milton Friedman disciple who snarls at my idiocy for liberalism. I listen to "Uncle Tom" Sowell sometimes, too.

Union organizers won't admit they face the same conumdrum either. Most more "advanced" or politically-connected businessmen/corporated love the minimum wage thing, too. It helps ruin the upstart competitors who try to break into their cash-cow niches.

Frank,

I know you love Mitt, but he's just ruining you. Abusing your credibility, exploiting your trust and faith, mesmerizing your thought processes into oblivion, and no matter what he says, he's already been bought, and is owned outright by the progressive retards.

But I am surprized the Minnesota Lutheran Bible Belters aren't buying it too. Wow. Santorum and Paul got 72% of the vote.

This is going to bring out Mitt's dirty side, the apparatichiks are going to ride herd on "their" supporters, maybe even take over the electronic voting machines where they have personnel in place to do so. Just like the other Rino/Dino stooge will do in the general election.

Which means he's required to change his position/opinion continuously as he keeps learning what he doesn't know and attempting to tie off all the lose ends to shore up his dream system. You might as well call him Mitt (or more likely, explain to him/her the real life and views of Milton Friedman). :D

she/her.

I hold my nose and put my brains on ice, and say "yes, dear". And go pout on the 'net. And read Lyndon LaRouche stuff to try to drown my sorrows. Works better than alcohol. At least when I'm done I can still shoot strait enough to get my pee in the toilet and not on the floor.

I see your point about the "landed gentry", but your case against the gold bugs needs some improvement. You should make it into a crusade.

Let me help. The golden rule still applies, in particular regard to "them that's got the gold make the rules." It's another monopoly, with a relatively small number of significant producers and corner holders who can "make the market dance". Anybody who buys into their system is just paying a direct tax of sorts to the system on the fees attached to transactions, plus supporting the cartel profits. Neither of which is going to work in the cause of liberty.

Frank, if I could persuade you of anything, I'd encourage you to stay sober, straighten up, and shoot straight. Be a man. Give that woman something better than touchy/feely validation any les could do much better. I think it's high time I changed my ways, too.

You said your wife is an Austrian, well, a Hayek-Mises lover, not a Friedman monetarist (like MEEEEE!!!).

That's included. See the part about Rio Tinto and BHP, not to mention the banking system behind them with gold in their vaults too. We have problems controlling our currency but at least it is a sovereign problem.
